E’GRID uniaxial geogrids can be used to reinforce and repair clay slopes or shallow slopes in areas that have suffered from erosion due to heavy rainfall. In order to prevent slope erosion, a three-dimensional erosion control mat is installed on the face slope. When backfilled with topsoil the finished slope can be seeded. When established the resulting greened face will blend naturally with the surrounding area.

Wrap-around Type of Geogrid Reinforced Soil Slopes

Reinforced soil slopes can be constructed using horizontally laid E’GRID uniaxial geogrids. The geogrids are wrapped around the fill material to form the front face. The system provides both confinement and durability. The finished structure can be greened to help protect the slope face from the elements. The reduction of the environmental impact is a major feature of the system.

Soil Anchors Reinforced Soil Slopes

Soil anchors are used to stabilise and embankments. BOSTD E’GRIDs are then connected to the ground anchors. The installed grids act as a reinforcement that allows sprayed concrete to be applied to the face. This ensures that the integrity of the completed system is not compromised.

Steel mesh panels are used as a sacrificial formwork that can be fabricated to suit different slope geometries. Using E’GRID uniaxial geogrids creates structural integrity within the slope. The system allows for rapid installation without comprising the integrity of the system. The completed slope can be vegetated or hydroseeded.

Geocell Reinforced Soil Slopes

BOSTD E’GRID uniaxial geogrids are installed on the face of steep slopes face to improve slope stability. BOSTD geocells are then installed in tiers above the geogrids. The geocells can then be backfilled with vegetated topsoil or alternative methods to suit the project requirements The completed system is an effective solution to combat both hydrodynamic and the force of gravity.
