Location:Fujian Province, China
Description:The Fujian-Guangdong Networking Project is located near Shiqin Village in northeastern Ma Pu Township. This area has many hills and valleys, creating a varied landscape. The middle of the site is higher in elevation, while the surroundings to the east, west, and south are lower. The highest point reaches 166 meters at the top of a hillock. The general leveling height for the site is 133 meters. The lowest point is about 92 meters, found in the southeast corner near a gully. After leveling, the highest difference in ground elevation across the site is about 40 meters. The total length of the slope is about 1,564 meters, and it is divided into six sections. This slope is permanent and has an engineering safety grade of Grade I. It is designed to last for 50 years and can withstand earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 6°. There is an extra load of 15 kPa at the top of the slope.
The project includes three sections of reinforced soil slopes:
1.K2 Section: This slope is on the northeast side of the site. The top will support the proposed substation, and the bottom leads to a mountainous area. The height of this fill slope ranges from 0 to 25.0 meters.
2.K4 Section: Located on the southeast side of the site, this slope's top will also support the proposed substation, with the bottom extending into a mountainous area. The height of this fill slope ranges from 0 to 40.0 meters.
3.K6 Section: This slope is on the southwest side of the site. It will support the proposed substation at the top, while the foot leads into a mountainous area. The height of this fill slope ranges from 0 to 37.0 meters. The geogrid reinforced slope measures between 20.0 and 38.6 meters in height and 12.0 to 55.0 meters in width. The wall slopes have a ratio of (1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2) and feature steps every 8 meters, each 4 meters wide. Bridle paths are paved every 0.80 meters along the height of the wall for easy access. The slope uses a backpacking-type structure, which looks nice and supports greening.
Benefits:Reduce the amount of land used for engineering and enhance the beauty of the ecological environment.
