Wuziwan Transportation Station Project

Material:EG130R、EG200R
Date:2023-2024
Location:Inner Mongolia, China
Description:
The Wuziwan Transportation Station, located on the Zhunshuo Railway and connected to Wuziwan Station, serves over 30 coal mines in Narisong Town, Jungar Banner, within a 50 km radius. This area produces approximately 60–65 million tons of coal annually, making it a key hub for high-calorific coal in the Ordos region.
The station covers 124 hectares, with an investment of about 820 million yuan, and has a designed capacity of 15 million tons per year (Phase I: 8 million tons, Phase II: 7 million tons). Official operations began on May 15, 2024, supporting freight volume on the Zhunshuo Line. The geogrid-reinforced soil slope reaches a height of 46 meters, divided into five levels. It features a 1:1 wall face slope ratio, four gully structures, and reinforcement layers every 0.5 meters.
The slope design includes a service life of 50 years and is aesthetically enhanced by a reverse-wrapped surface, which has reduced costs compared to traditional retaining structures while expanding usable site area.
Benefits:Minimize land use for engineering projects, enhance the ecological environment, and lower project costs.
