Description：
The Yichangbei EMU Depot is located in Longquan Town, Yichang City, Hubei Province. It is 2,840 meters long and 290 meters wide. The depot includes high-fill and deep-excavation subgrades and covers an area of 1,008 mu, which is about 67.2 hectares. To the south is the stabling yard for the Yangtze River Coast High-Speed Railway, and to the north is the reserved stabling yard for the Hohhot-Nanning High-Speed Railway. Both yards have 20 stabling tracks. At the western end of the depot, there is a reinforced soil retaining wall. The tail section of the EMU Depot has a filled subgrade with a slope that rises more than 30 meters high. The design uses multi-level reinforced soil retaining walls with different panel types.
This solution addresses the problem of standard slope designs that take up rivers, farmland, and drylands. The project also showcases new reinforced soil retaining walls for railways.
