Description:The Dhaka Bypass Expressway project, located north of Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, aims to connect the industrial zones in northern and northeastern Bangladesh while linking several east-west national highways. This expressway serves as a crucial corridor between Dhaka and Chittagong, the country's most significant southern seaport. It spans approximately 48 kilometers with a total investment of $412 million. The project is developed, constructed, and operated by Sichuan Road and Bridge (Group) Co., Ltd., under the Sichuan Expressway Group. Notably, this marks Bangladesh's first highway Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project under the government's Government and Social Capital Partnership Act.
